These days, I find myself irritated by the smallest transgressions from the outside world. Things like the leaf blowers in the neighborhood that have previously been nothing more than background noise have become irrational focuses of rage that I dare not express to the outside world.

Yes. I attribute to the fact that since 2020, I worked from home and am now retired, so I get to "enjoy" hours of vroom vroom every day. And my state, Virginia, doesn't allow individual cities to ban the gas powered ones.
