While this is a valuable perspective, I can't help playing it out in my mind in light of history. "Yes," says the German in 1937, "I don't like that my neighbor thinks Jews are dirty. That Jews shouldn't be teachers." Etc. "But, no matter, I'm not Jewish." Get my drift?
