Daily life

1. It actually is possible for me to get tired of eating pizza.

2. I’m never going to find a good office chair. Five and counting.

3. The surefire way to hear Dad’s voice is leaving my bed unmade.

4. I’ll always think the project I’m working on is the wrong one.

5. I have yet to see a typo I don’t want to correct. (I’m still wondering why the Washington Post doesn’t feel the same way.)

Relationships

6. I was more deeply valued by my coworkers than I ever imagined.

7. I am still working on vanquishing the fat unpopular kid in me.

Pandemic reverberations

8. I still can’t watch basketball without mourning its loss in my life.

9. Working from home since 2020 was great practice for retirement.

10. After it closed, I realized how important the library is to me.

Retirement

11. I would’ve never guessed that I’d still want to use a bullet journal.
