Those systems stink. Often they haven't been updated to reflect new job titles. I once ran my resumé through an ATS simulator, for a job posting for a UX designer. The simulator kept insisting that I was misspelling UX and I must really be a UNIX designer.
It totally messed up my two column resumé, even when I added metadata to tell it there were two columns. Ran the words from column A with those on the same line in column B. Useless.
Eventually, I designed a single-column, straight text resumé for the ATS parsers.
