The platform promotes the ships of people who already sell a lot, because that's how they make money. Not saying they shouldn't make money, but if they really cared about artisans, they'd highlight new shops and artists on the home page every day. I make fabric jewelry. There are literally thousands of competitors, my chances of breaking through are slim, even after researching SEO, writing descriptions, etc. I fear this will become similar, the haves will get more, and the rest of us who can't pay to play, will be pushed into the background.
