There are apparently no subjects that women write about that men don't feel constrained to jump in and mansplain things. Sigh.
What I've always found puzzling, and a bit weird to my way of thinking (which, yes, I know, has no relevance to anyone else!) is how many women create an avatar for their social media accounts that shows an extreme close up of either cleavage or butt crack in thong. I think to myself, is this the characteristic you want to put front and center to sum you up?
Maybe I'm jealous, since it's been 4 decades since I had a body to "show off", but still: it feels sad to me. Like saying "this is all I've got."
As I said, my take. Maybe it's just that, as you have written about your daughter, Laura, that young women these days are super proud of their bodies.
