Thanks for that info, Renee! I retired in 2022, but before then, I was laid off at age 60 as a UX designer, from a TINY ed tech startup, and as a female Boomer I thought I'd never get another job. I ended up finding a perfect fit at PBS, working on websites for classroom teachers and parents, during the pandemic. Very rewarding work. AFAIK my old boss, a senior UX designer, still hasn't found a new FT job (about 16 months). He's in his 40s.
