Single, renter. No kids. No family. Nearest ICE friend is an hour away. So, no home to sell to move into a continuing care community or even senior community. No one to serve as executor. I do have a health care proxy to take me off life support if I'm a vegetable. There's thousands of folks like me out there, and no real social support system out there for our situation.
