Nope. I've been effectively collaborating remotely for the past 2 years, even before covid. The product teams I work on have several members who have always been remote. Collaboration can happen anywhere and anytime if a company fosters ways to collaborate. Having butts in seats in cublcles where most people wear headphones is most definitely not promoting collaboration. If you can't figure out how to collaborate other than in person, that's your problem and the company's problem to solve. And it's not by putting butts in seats.
