I've done a lot of daily art challenges over the past few years, usually time limited (100 days, for example). Somehow, having that bit of nudge makes such a difference. For the past 6 weeks, I'd been logging in to a Zoom call for a weekly one-hour Creativity Jumpstart. The host has a weekly prompt that is broad enough that it can be done with whatever supplies one has on hand. I really enjoyed how this gave me enough direction and a limited time to make something. It got me out of my head. Last week, I had to miss both sessions due to other commitments, and now I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to do the prompt outside of the group call. Weird!
