Isn't this the intent of all social media? Addiction, attention, data mining? It seems that teens just move from platform to platform. As a society, we should be asking ourselves why tweens and teens would rather spend their time with a screen than with human beings. Could it be they see this behavior modeled from parents who walk their dogs and their babies in strollers with nary a glance up?
