I'm curious to know what effort you put in to publicizing your stories off of Medium?

I ask because the most I ever made in one month was $44, and that was two years ago, when I wrote less often, had far, far fewer followers, and didn't spend much time commenting on other people's stories, all things I've read are key to generating more $.

Even my stories that have >9000 viewers and hundreds of fans just haven't made much lifetime.
