I watch a lot of BBC Masterpiece Mysteries. The female actors look like real human beings, wrinkles and all. Unlike in the US, where female FBI agents (Neicy Nash, really?) and CSIs wear tight-fitting clothes to show off their cleavage and enough makeup to populate a small store, they wear clothing appropriate to a professional workplace. I'm thinking series like Annika, The Unforgotten, Professor T.
