I was just at one of the several nearby thrift stores to donate clothes. I wandered around and scored a good novel and a nice bowl that I didn't really need, but it was all of 50 cents. I see it as a source of free or cheap entertainment. I still remember the first time I went into a non-grocery store after the start of the pandemic. I was thrilled to talk to another shopper! Living alone and working from home, I hadn't spoken face to face with anyone in months.
