I never thought writing about Medium was the key to making money. Having said that, poetry and personal essays along the lines of memoir don't seem to make much money, despite a few outliers, including one of my own, first turned down by one publication and then boosted by another. Definitely an outlier.

I will say that eliminating the right sidebar sending readers off to unrelated stuff, and instead suggesting more stories by the author and the publication, at the end of the story, has been a big improvement. So thank you for listening to us!
