I discovered the wonders of spreadsheets about 10 years ago. Now I keep track of my monthly spending and income and have created formulas to provide quarterly averages, conditionally highlight cells, calculate my MPG, etc. I even figured out how to install a script that will provide a sum of all cells of a certain color.

I never imagined in my decades as a graphic designer that I'd become a spreadsheet fan. They're now my first option for keeping track of "data".
