My tumblr blog has a much smaller audience than the stuff I publish on Medium, but it is focused around the creative process, while the stuff I write on Medium is about work and life. I'd like to boost readership of my blog. Do you recommend that I first publish a story on my blog and then publish on Medium using the canonical link from my blog? Or publish on Medium and in the story, add a link to my tumblr blog in general, not to the same story there. Does my question make sense?
