From my way of thinking, only members can read members' "paywalled" stories, correct? So if each of us tips our favorite few writers, it's all circular. We're all tipping each other, and if I tip more than the people who tip me…well, you see where this is going. I don't like the idea. Maybe Medium could figure out how to actually promote new writers and up the rate of "payment" in our Partner Program accounts. As it is, we are in essence acting as multi-level marketers for Medium. My two cents.
