As a 65-year-old starting to notice subtle physical declines, I would say adding years in and of itself isn't an appealing goal, for a number of reasons:

One, the way the trajectory of my body is going, adding 25 years isn't likely to be ideal. If they could tack on 25 years of my 35-year-old self, great!

A second consideration: My generation is already being blamed for retiring and collecting the Social Security we are due. Imagine what happens if everyone lives 25 years longer? Force people to work until 80 to start collecting Social Security? As it is, people over FIFTY are being forced out of jobs, let alone 65.

I'd rather we as a society focus on helping the vast majority of people who aren't billionaires live BETTER, not longer. Raise the minimum wage, provide universal health care, require everyone get paid sick leave and vacation time, etc.
